Berhampur,11Th Feb 2025: A district-level workshop on Safer Internet Day was organized at the Collectorate Conference Hall, Ganjam, Chatrapur on February 11, 2025, at 12:00 noon. The event was presided over by Dr. Pramod Kumar Prusty, OAS, Additional District Magistrate (General), Ganjam.
The workshop was attended by Sri Sudhansu Kumar Bhoi, OAS, ADM (Revenue), along with District-level Officers, Deputy Collectors, Assistant Collectors, and staff from various departments.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Prusty stressed upon the importance of safe internet usage and highlighted the increasing risks of cyber fraud, citing real-life examples. This was followed by a detailed presentation on Safer Internet Day by Sri Ranajeet Kumar Das, DIO, NIC, Ganjam.
A panel discussion on cyber fraud and online security was conducted, featuring insights from the Deputy Collector (Establishment), District Sports Officer, Assistant Collectors and other District-level Officials.
Around 75 participants from various district offices attended the workshop. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the chair.
