Two More Accused Recreated Crime Scene in Sudhir Patra Murder Case

Berhampur, May 29:
In the sensational murder case of plot businessman Sudhir Patra of Satyanarayanpur village under Gopalpur police limits in Ganjam district, two more accused persons were brought on remand by the police for crime scene reconstruction.
According to sources, the Gopalpur police took the two accused to Rampada forest near Buguda, where they demonstrated the sequence of events related to the murder of Sudhir Patra. The accused also reportedly explained how the victim’s body was shifted from Rampada forest to Sorada forest after the murder.
The two accused brought on remand have been identified as Mukesh Sahu of Kabisuryanagar area and Sumit Singh, presently residing in Surat, Gujarat.
Police sources said that earlier, three other accused persons had also undergone crime scene recreation at the same location. On Friday, the police carried out a similar reconstruction exercise with the remaining two accused as part of the ongoing investigation.
The murder case has created widespread attention in the district, and the investigation is continuing.
