DPC Chairpersons Appointed for 18 Districts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, April 1: The Odisha government has announced the appointment of District Planning Committee (DPC) Chairpersons for 18 districts, assigning key ministers and MLAs to oversee district-level planning and development activities.
According to the official list, Shri Ashok Mohanty has been appointed for Angul, while Shri Laxman Bag will head Balangir and Shri Padmalochan Panda will oversee Balasore. Shri Ashwini Kumar Sarangi has been given charge of Bargarh and Shri Sitanshu Sekhar Mohapatra will lead Bhadrak district.
Shri Kanhai Charan Dang has been assigned Boudh, and Shri Chhabi Mallick will head Cuttack. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Shri Suresh Pujari has been appointed for Deogarh, while Ms. Simarani Nayak will oversee Dhenkanal.
Minister for Works, Excise and Law, Shri Prithiviraj Harichandan, has been given responsibility for Gajapati district. Shri Purna Chandra Sethy will serve as DPC Chairman for Ganjam, and Shri Amarendra Das has been assigned Jagatsinghpur.
Shri Akash Dashnayak will head Jajpur, while Shri Tankadhar Tripathy has been appointed for Jharsuguda. Shri Sudhir Ranjan Pattjoshi will oversee Kalahandi, and Shri Uma Charan Mallick has been assigned Kandhamal.
Dr. Durga Prasan Nayak will serve as Chairman for Kendrapara, and Dr. Fakir Mohan Naik has been appointed for Keonjhar.
The appointments are aimed at strengthening decentralized planning and ensuring effective implementation of development programs at the district level.
