PURI: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, IREL (India) Limited—a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy—organized a free food distribution camp (Nishulka Anna Seva) on Bada Danda to serve thousands of pilgrims during the Puri Rath Yatra.
The camp provided free meals to devotees during Bahuda Yatra on July 24 and continued service on Suna Besha on July 25. The event was attended by key company officials, including IREL CMD Shri Sarada Bhusan Mohanty, General Manager & Head (REPM) Shri Simanchala Acharya, and OSCOM Head Shri C. V. R. Murty.
Reiterating its commitment to community welfare and the spirit of sewa (selfless service), the company highlighted that the initiative aims to support pilgrims during one of the nation’s largest religious gatherings.
