A successful ABPMJAY-GJAY-VVY card distribution program was held at the Special Circuit House in Berhampur today at 11:30 AM. The event marked a significant step in the ongoing healthcare initiatives under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, with a special focus on the VVY (Vulnerable Vulnerability Yojana) Card.
The program witnessed the gracious presence of several distinguished dignitaries who underscored the importance of the Ayushman and VVY Cards in extending quality healthcare to the most vulnerable sections of society.
The event was graced by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Sj. Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Berhampur, and Hon’ble MLAs from Berhampur, Digapahandi, Chikiti, and Khalikot. Hon’ble Mayor of Berhampur, Smt. Sanghamitra Dalai, also attended the event, along with the Hon’ble Collector and District Magistrate of Ganjam, the Additional District Magistrate of Ganjam, and other senior officials.
Prominent health officials present included Dr. Bhabani Shankar Misra, Chief District Medical and Public Health Officer (CDMPHO), the Additional District Urban Public Health Officer (ADUPHO) of Berhampur, and the District Program Manager of NHM, Ganjam.
The dignitaries delivered impactful speeches highlighting the role of the VVY Card in enhancing healthcare accessibility. They emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring that no citizen is left behind in receiving affordable and quality medical care.
The event concluded with a collective pledge by all stakeholders to work collaboratively for the effective implementation of the program across Ganjam district, aiming to strengthen the public healthcare system and improve health outcomes for all beneficiaries.
