Brahmapur, June 21: Elaborate security arrangements were made by Brahmapur Police for the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination held on Sunday at 11 centres across the district.
Adequate police personnel, led by Sub-Inspectors, were deployed at all centres to maintain law and order, conduct frisking, and regulate entry. Mock drills and security inspections were carried out a day before the examination.
Armed escorts ensured the secure transportation of confidential examination materials under double-layer security with CRPF support. Traffic and parking arrangements were streamlined around the centres, while intensified patrolling, cyber surveillance, and intelligence monitoring were undertaken to prevent malpractice, paper leaks, and the spread of misinformation on social media.
